Photographic Style

We aim to be flexible in our style of photography so that the couple are pleased with their overall album. Classic, natural and reportage are the styles that can be combined to capture and tell the story of your day. The desired combination is selected by the bridal couples. We also include a handful of "detail" shots, captured images of those aspects and items you have chosen months preparing and deciding upon.

We do not impose options upon you but cater for a tailored package to suit your personal choice and style.

Working Style

We appreciate how a wedding day can fly by in the eyes of the couple themselves. We feel it is important to disrupt your day as little as possible. We try not to spend too much time taking the couple away from their guests or interfering with the flow of the day´s events. Unlike a lot of studio photographers, we do not lead the day's events but work around the plans and ideas of the couple.

For Bride & Groom shots, we favour taking the couple aside either after the welcome drinks or the welcome line. This allows them to have time with their family and friends and they tend to be much more relaxed. It provides the couple with an opportunity to have a much needed five minutes alone. Let´s not forget that the wedding day is an emotional and demanding day for any couple.

Customer Service Style

We encourage wedding couples to ask for a personalised quote to suit their day. Unlike a lot of studios, we offer the opportunity for a pre-wedding meeting where we can all view the venues together and talk through ideas, locations and timings.

Presentation

Two to three weeks after your wedding, you will receive a post-wedding pack. This includes a DVD slideshow of all your images broken down into two chapters; colour and effects, and monochrome. To accompany this, you also receive a thumbnail booklet which lists all your photographs in order with order codes. Your photographs will be put online and can be found under "recent weddings". This is a great way for near and far friends/relatives to view your photographs and place orders, should they wish to. You will have up to three weeks before you have to return your DVD slideshow. The proof booklet is yours to keep.

Unlike studios that often dictate or limit your choice of album, we try to cater to every taste and budget. Wedding albums are a huge part of the photographic costs but are something that keep your printed images safe for a lifetime. There are a wide range of wedding albums to choose from and we spend time discussing with couples the best options for them and their final selection choice.

Presentation can transform the look of a photograph dramatically. We can supply a variety of albums from credit card sized to A3, there is something for every budget.
